I’ve been watching Tales from the Crypt all damn day. Talking too loud in my apartment (apparently, based on neighbor complaints) and finding (possibly used) pregnancy tests in my burger king stall. Just another day in the life.

Finally a post! A summary of the solo show that caused my absence on this site. A reflection on the year I’ve had, and looking forward to what’s going to come next…

Disney movies speak for everyone, don’t they? Even children who truly believe they were meant to be mermaids and that one day soon their true mermaid friends will come up and transform their legs into fins?! Yes, even those children. What about 16 year olds who fall in love with a stranger from a far off land and hope to one day, against all odds, live happily ever after with them? Oh yes, those people too.

Again, blogging about the process of writing my solo show. Moving along, little by little but feeling a bit more prepared with each step.
