I'm gonna be honest, I'm hungover right now.

I’ve been watching Tales from the Crypt all damn day. Talking too loud in my apartment (apparently, based on neighbor complaints) and finding (possibly used) pregnancy tests in my burger king stall. Just another day in the life.

Ok, so. I’m hungover.

Let’s rewiiiiiiiind it a bit, shall we?

Yesterday was fAMAZING! It was an absolutely beautiful day in Oslo, and verrrry warm. Me, Alexander, and some friends headed out to Hovedøya (a nice little island you can get to from Oslo on a ferry that takes about 5 minutes) with some snacks, some sun tan lotion, and the dog. We got our tan on and went swimming and it felt so amazing. Like summertime was really here. Oh, and I finished my first year at TITAN on Friday but I’ll probably-maybe right an entirely seperate post about that once I’m myself again.

So yeah, awesome times. Then, Alexander had to go in for a sound check for the Freak Forum gig that night. It was their 10 year anniversary and it’s my understanding they’ve given binaerpilot.no a lot of traffic in the years which in turn, 1 time out of 10, gives me traffic. So <3.

That night I made chicken enchiladas and we had some people over. Drinking ensued. Renate and I again played a series of drinking games hell bent on getting us to finish as many beers as possible in the shortest amount of time. At least this time, no one vomited. And I’m grateful for that. TMI, moving on.

We walked down to the gig, got lost, then found it. More beers were had. More bathroom breaks also. Then Alexander and Inge (on the bass) went on and dancing was had by all! I even made an appearance on stage for Squeeze//Here’s some video of the last time (aka the first time) we performed it. As usual I had a great time.

Afterwards Renate, Steven, Alexander & I all left and went to McDonalds (perfect drunk and hangover food) I made the mistake of only getting ONE cheeseburger. What was I thinking. But while we were waiting Renate and I had some fun when I blew my straw wrapper directly into her mouth without trying. The look on both our faces was probably the most incredible thing I’ve ever witnessed. The wrapper just stayed in there! And we both looked shocked and confused. The fact that this isn’t on tape is deeply saddening.

Anyway we got home around 1 AM and all was right with the world.

Then I woke up this morning. My neck and shoulders hurt like hell. I was still drunk trying to unlock my iPhone (I might still be drunk because I just spelled out eye phone…) while very dizzy did not work. I had to take Ziggy out. The light was blinding and a headache shortly followed. There were beer cans and plates scattered around the apartment. I slumped into the couch, grabbed some pretzels and turned on Tales from the Crypt. And not much has changed since then. OH! Except for when Alexander and I went to Burger King and I found a pregnancy test in the seat right before we were LEAVING. I didn’t see if it was positive, negative, or even used but it was out of the wrapper/box so I can only assume the worst.

So to the girl who decided to take a pregnancy test at a BURGER KING: If you did turn out pregnant, please don’t have that baby; and if you do… Give it to someone else. A family that probably doesn’t even GO to Burger King, let alone urinate there, let alone TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST THERE. And if you aren’t pregnant: Congratulations. Now stop having sex. Stop going to Burger King. Stop doing whatever you did that led you up to that point. You’ll thank me for it.

Oh and we got told on to the board for talking to loud after 11PM. Note to the person ACROSS THE STREET that complained: I, sadly, am in bed by 10 PM. Until then my husband is online with headphones on and I’m on my computer. Why don’t you complain about the couple that has ridiculously loud sex in the middle of the day, or the guidos (aka Norguidos) that decided it was SO cool to park their mini van on the street and blare the shittiest trance music ever. No? You’d rather complain to our board about the loud “English being spoken”? Oh ok. That’s cool too.
